You can ask us to delete your Sudoku Champ account and the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how to submit a request, what we delete, and what we may keep.
How to request deletion
- Send an email from the address linked to your Google account (if you use Google Sign-In), or from any email you used to contact support about the app.
- Use the subject line: Delete my Sudoku Champ account.
- Include:
- Your display name in the app (if you set one).
- The Google account email you used to sign in (if applicable).
- Approximate date you last used the app (helps us find the right account).
- Optional: a short note if you played only as a guest (anonymous account).
- We will confirm by email when deletion is complete (usually within 30 days, often sooner).
What we delete
After we verify your identity, we delete or anonymise account-linked data on our servers, including where applicable:
- Profile (display name, country, avatar image on our storage).
- Gameplay progress and statistics (Classic, Rapid, Quick, Daily, Arena, Kids, Logic, Training, etc.).
- Leaderboard entries tied to your account.
- Wallet, coins, rewards, daily tasks, shop inventory, and premium flags linked to your account.
- Push notification tokens and topic subscriptions on our backend.
- Authentication linkage between our app and your account identifier.
We will also ask Google Firebase to remove or disassociate your app account where technically possible for our configuration.
What we may keep (and why)
- Purchase records — Google Play transaction identifiers and purchase state may be retained as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and chargebacks (typically up to several years as required by law).
- Aggregated analytics — De-identified or aggregated statistics that cannot reasonably identify you.
- Legal and security logs — Minimal records we must keep to comply with law or defend legal claims, for the period required by applicable law.
- Third-party data — Data held by Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, etc.) is also subject to Google’s retention and deletion tools. You can limit ad personalisation in Android settings and manage Google account data at Google Account → Data & privacy.
Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent for game progress, coins, and rankings tied to that account.
- If you use Google Sign-In, deleting app data does not delete your Google account.
- Uninstalling the app alone does not delete server-side data — you must submit a request using the steps above.
In the app
Open Settings → About → Privacy Policy or use this page from Google Play’s account-deletion link.
